Set in the time of the English Civil war of the Cavaliers and Roundheads, The Moonraker is a swashbuckling cavalier whose task is to see that King Charles is taken to safety. The Moonraker must however, also contend with the challenges of his own love life. When the Cavalier assigned the task is thwarted by the discovery of the scheme, other measures must be taken.
